Chapter 043:
The ASIS Tidewater Chapter brings the national organization's goals and objectives to the local level. Through local education, networking opportunities, and training, the ASIS Tidewater Chapter aids the local security professionals to strive to be the best in security field.

ASIS Chapter 43 - The Tidewater Chapter - is located in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia which consist of Chesapeake, Hampton, Portsmouth, Norfolk, Suffolk, Newport News, Virginia-Beach, Williamsburg and other surrounding areas. The Tidewater Chapter membership is comprised of security professionals dedicated to protecting the assets of a diverse group of businesses, nonprofit & for profit organizations, and government agencies. The Tidewater Chapter is led by an Executive board team which is nominated and elected from Chapter members.

The Tidewater Chapter of ASIS International was founded September 9, 1959. Chapter meetings are normally the third Wednesday each month. Each Chapter meeting has a keynote speaker who gives a presentation on a security related subject
