Security Manager – Level IV:
The primary objective of the Security Manager is to provide high-profile, visible supervision of all Security Officers in pursuit of the security operation to protect life and property, and to deter the risk of loss or criminal activity resulting in destruction of property, injury, or loss of life. When faced with a security emergency requiring immediate action, the Site Supervisor will ensure all appropriate Security Officers respond with the minimum force necessary to deter the risk of injury, loss of life, the destruction of property, or any criminal action on TCC property.
             Minimum Qualifications:
            • One of the following:
            • Former Law Enforcement
            • Former Career Military
                              • Former Military – Elite Forces
            • Former Military Police
            • Former Police Academy Trained
            • Former Federal Agency Officer
            • Graduate of accredited college or university with an AA Degree or higher with a concentration in criminal justice, police science or security administration
and
            • Familiarity with Microsoft Office computer applications, i.e. Word, Excel.
            • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
            • Current CPR and First Aid training certificate.
            • Valid driver’s license.
            • Required state certification and/or licensing.
            • Training in National Incident Management System and Incident Command System
 
                   Duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following:
 
            • Direct strategic planning, ensuring effective organization and implementation for site operations.
            • Make daily and unannounced facility inspections, inclusive of late evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure the total compliance of site guidelines, post orders, employee job performance, etc. Will administer on-the-spot corrective action to any employee under his/her command as necessary.
            • Review the security program on a continual basis, assist in training and selection of personnel, their evaluation, and make recommendations for promotions and awards.
            • Ensure the operation is fully staffed with skilled and competent personnel, and that all security personnel are properly trained and such training is documented in personnel files.
            • Maintain schedules and 24-hour efficiency, and to assist shift supervision on a 24-hour basis for any special emergency conditions that may arise.
            • Guide the continuous improvement process and report progress to TCC’s Security Director on a monthly or as required basis.
            • Act as liaison between Security Officer Provider and TCC by maintaining good communications with TCC and assisting with special problems, emergencies, extra staffing requirements, etc., as they arise.
